I was born and raised in Lynden, Washington. I graduated from Lynden High School and then after high school I attended and graduated from Western Washington University with my degree in Business Administration/Marketing in December of 2005.
My husband, Luke, and I were married in 2008 and we lived in Bozeman, Montana, until January of 2010. We moved back to Lynden, to be closer to family after our oldest daughter was born. We now have four children who attend Lynden Christian: Ariana, Aiden, Addison, and Axton. We feel extremely blessed to have our children be part of a school that is able to put Christ at the center of their teaching and learning. Before I started working at Lynden Christian, I served on the Friends of Lynden Christian Board for four years. I was then hired by FOLC as the Event and Volunteer Coordinator in 2020. I thoroughly enjoy working at LC and being a part of this wonderful community.
We are members of First Reformed Church where we continue to be as involved as we can. I currently help out with the children’s ministry there. My husband has been a deacon, on the safety committee, and we both attend our church’s Wednesday Family Nights. In our spare time we are usually traveling to watch our kids play sports, but we also love to be outdoors, and watch sports when someone isn’t playing them. I personally love to shop, read, and hopefully, someday, get back to more traveling.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 – “In everything give thanks, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
