After graduating from Lynden Christian in 2008, I attended Calvin College.  I graduated from Calvin in 2012 with a BA in Elementary Education with minors in Fine Arts and Spanish.  I have been teaching since 2012 and love that I get to fulfill God’s calling in my life each and every day at school!

Throughout my teaching career, I have taught Preschool, Kindergarten, Art, Spanish, and now 1st grade!  My deep hope in my teaching is that my students will know that God loves them!

I married my husband Greg in 2016 and being the true Millennials that we are, we have 3 fur children; our dog Trixie, and our 2 cats Millie and Ichabod!  We are homebodies who love to spend time working in the garden, watching movies and documentaries, playing video games and baking.  We attend Christ the King Community Church in Bellingham.
