Agriculture Shop Teacher/FFA Advisor

Lynden Christian School is seeking a full-time Agriculture Shop Teacher/FFA Advisor for the 2023-24 school year.  Lynden Christian’s CTE program is committed to helping students become career and college ready through hands-on learning opportunities. Qualified candidates will partner with the existing Shop and Agriscience teachers to help grow the education of agriculture, horticulture, woodshop, welding, and small gas engines for students with room for expansion in other areas depending on experience/skill set.  Qualified candidate will also help students develop employability and job readiness skills.  This person will form close ties with local businesses, the trades and agricultural communities, as well as non-profit organizations. As an FFA advisor they will serve as a chapter advisor and help coach Career Development Events and Leadership Development Events teams.  The ideal candidate will have a collaborative approach to teaching and working with others within the CTE Department.  Lynden Christian is seeking someone who is passionate for the job with an ability to reach out to students and create a relationship of mutual trust. They will know how to plan, prepare, implement, monitor and evaluate a competency-based course.

Lynden Christian Middle School in Lynden, Washington has a full-time teaching position for a choir director for the 2023-24 school year. Substitute Bus Driver
