Lynden Christian School’s Volunteer Program

Families of Lynden Christian,

In order to build community, we have started a volunteer program! Lynden Christian has been blessed for years with so many faithful volunteers. THANK YOU! We are excited to build community, keep a more centralized list of the opportunities available, and work together for the benefit of LCS. As they say: many hands make light work. There are many ways to use your gifts as an individual or a family. Ten hours per year, per family is the requirement (or, if you prefer, you can pay $200).

Please see below for a list of volunteer opportunities at Lynden Christian School.

How to Volunteer:

Signing in for the first time:

Create a login and sign in at https://helpcounter-kiosk.com/ci/volunteer (Use the email address that you have given to the school).

Click on “update profile information” and double-check personal information

Recording service hours:

  • Click on “Record hours/Review Past hours volunteered”
  • Click on “Add New Hours”
  • Type .25 for 15 minutes; .5 for 30 minutes etc.

If you work for the school, sub at the school, or only have a part time student, you are exempt.

If you are struggling to find time to volunteer, please reach out to LCSvolunteers@lyncs.org to be connected to those willing to donate their excess volunteer hours.  (Do you volunteer all the time and want to help other families? Email LCSvolunteers@lyncs.org so we can connect you with another family!)

Thanks again for all the ways you support Lynden Christian School!
