I grew up in Lynden and graduated from Lynden Christian in 2003. I then studied at Biola University and received a Music Education degree with an emphasis in vocal studies. My husband, John, and I lived in San Diego, CA, for a few years where I taught middle and high school choir. In 2011, we moved back to Washington to start our family, and the Lord has blessed us with three lovely daughters.

I am excited to be back in the classroom after having the opportunity to be at home with our daughters for the past few years. I love teaching choir, and I am passionate about teaching others to use their voices to make beautiful music and praise the Lord.  In 2018, I began serving as the part-time choir director at our church, Grace Baptist Fellowship, and I have also enjoyed directing music for the LCHS musicals since the 2023-24 school year.
