After graduating from Lynden Christian, I started working in the electrical field. A few years later, I felt compelled to go to college and received my BA and teaching certificate from Western Washington University in 2003. During this time, I continued working in electrical and became a fully licensed electrician. After graduating, I took a leave replacement position then decided to table my teaching career and stayed in the electrical field to support our growing family. Over the next 20 years, I worked as a project manager for Express Electric and a part time high school youth pastor, among other things, at our church. In 2025, I felt God pushing me in a new direction, and as a result, I am now teaching here at Lynden Christian in the CTE/Shop Program.
My wife, Andrea, and I have a daughter and two sons. We’re active members at Nooksack Valley Reformed Church. We enjoy camping, mountain biking, hiking, skiing, and basically anything outdoors.
I’m excited to help students discover their value in Jesus Christ, and aid in discovering the skills and passions He has given them to enter into a meaningful life and career serving Him!
