It is very exciting to teach elementary PE and give the students the knowledge, skills, and confidence to be physically active not only in school, but hopefully for a lifetime!
I love watching kids take on new challenges, encourage others, and work together as a team. Every day we can give all the glory and praise to God for the wonderful, amazing bodies He has given us!

I am a graduate of Lynden Christian and I received my teaching degree from Western Washington University where I majored in special education. I taught second grade for seven years and part-time remedial math for one year in the Ferndale School District before deciding to stay home after our daughter was born. My husband Travis and I live in Lynden and have three kids. I love spending time with my family–together we enjoy hiking, playing sports, and working in the raspberry field. We are members of Christ The King Church.
