My name is Frieda Luce and I grew up in Abbotsford, British Columbia. I attended Trinity Western University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in education, psychology and geography in 1990. The following year I received my teaching certification from Simon Fraser University. Following graduation, I taught for seven years in the Burnaby School District. Since then, I was able to be at home raising our family and for the past two years I have been substitute teaching in the middle school and the elementary school.

Having taught primarily fourth and fifth grade in the public system, I consider it a privilege to teach at a Christian school where we can openly include God in our daily lessons and keep Christ in the center of our learning. With our children attending Lynden Christian we are able to see the benefits of Christian education and the impact it is having on our family. My goal is to let each student know that God loves them and has a plan for their lives. I am very excited to join the middle school team at Lynden Christian.

I have been happily married to my husband since 1996, and we have been blessed with five wonderful children: Jakob, Cameron, Katrina, Andrew and Nickolas. We enjoy being active. Some of our favorite pastimes are gardening, hiking, biking, reading, fishing and spending time with family and friends. We are members of Sonlight Church in Lynden.
