Lynden Christian School is deeply committed to in-person Christian education where we can best focus on our mission promoting the growth and education of our students so they can have a transforming influence in the world for the glory of God. However, there have been a high number of COVID-19 cases at school and that number continued until we closed September 29.

We are deeply concerned about the number of cases within the school. The health and well-being of our students, their families, our staff, and our community is of great concern. For that reason, we voluntarily followed the likely order of the Whatcom County Health Department to close our school for in-person instruction for the next two weeks.

We are very grateful that, by God’s grace, there have been no serious cases in the school. It is unfortunate that we are at this point, but together as a school community, we will get through this and back to in-person Christian education.
