God is good

Hi my name is Dylan Kaemingk. Football has always been a part of my life and I started playing when I was 12, When I was in 6th grade, when I joined LC I played football and I was on our high school team for 4 years. My junior and senior year I was fortunate enough to be named All league Offense and Defensive line. My senior year I was also named All-State Offense and Defensive line. Over the next few minutes I hope to explain to you how different teachers and the football program have allowed me to grow in the understanding of God and myself. Friendship and my relationship with Christ help sustain me in life. My friends have been a great part of my social renewal, I made some friends on the football field and a lot of them just because they have been my classmates at school for all these years. This has been one of the greatest blessing at LC. My friends are the only reason why I look forward to go school, to see all of them. Another part of my renewal is with my relationship with Christ, I have felt more connected with Christ by going to church at third church with listening to God’s word from my pastor Jon Young every Sunday and having some fun with my Youth Pastor Austin Burke at Youth Group by playing some fun games and teaching how good God is. The truth is God is good, God has blessed me with a healthy body, good friends, a nice house, good parents, and God knows exactly what’s going to happen in my life everyday. Just like water and stretching help you recover from physical activities, God will help me recover from any setbacks I will have in my life.

The goal in life is to serve the Lord in your work by working hard for him. Colossians3:17 says “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the father through him.” It links to me because I try my hardest in everything I do even if I’m not the best at it, I give 100% effort all the time. I have to work hard for all the things I have accomplished, some people don’t have to try to accomplish something, not me I will work to get it done. Because of my hard work, teachers at LC, friends, and football, I have grown in understanding of both God, myself and my calling in the world as God’s agents of renewal. The truth is I have struggled in school, and for me playing football again has to come to an end, but a new chapter has been open in my life. Thanks you everybody that made LC a great place to go to and learn about the Lord in every way possible.
