This Saturday, April 26, marks a busy day on the Lynden Christian campus, and we invite our community to join us for a fun and meaningful day. The morning kicks off with our annual Pancake Breakfast from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with tickets available at the door. All proceeds support the 6th-grade Outdoor Ed. program, and we encourage parents and 5th graders to sign up for volunteer shifts to help the event run smoothly. Also launching that day is the LC Plant Sale, featuring a wide selection of flowers, veggie starts, hanging baskets, and more—with many items designed by our talented horticulture students. The sale continues weekdays from 12:00–3:00 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM until the greenhouses are empty. In addition, the LC Artisan & Vendor Market will be open from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the high school, with a wide variety of local vendors and handmade goods.

Be sure to stop by Second Chance Building Supply, LC’s very own home improvement store. Open from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the store will be offering 30% off your entire purchase on April 26 in honor of SCBS’ one-year anniversary. It’s a perfect time to browse, find great deals, and support a program that gives new life to reusable materials. Second Chance Thrift Store will also be open for busines, and accepting donations, from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM.
