LCHS Presents: The Curious $avage

The Curious Savage by John Patrick is a charming comedy about a woman named Mrs.
Savage who inherits a small fortune when her husband passes away, much to her
stepchildren’s chagrin. In an attempt to get the money, the stepchildren commit her to a
sanitarium where Mrs. Savage befriends a wonderful group of misfits. It is a comedy filled with
quirky, unique and kind characters and profound lessons of goodness for us all.

This is one of director Laura Williams-French’s favorite plays and she’s so proud of the work the
students have put into their characters. “The show has themes that are so relevant for today
with what it means to be kind and the things that are profoundly important. It encourages us to
examine how we spend our time and how we interact with others.” The students involved have
worked incredibly hard to create their characters and honor the work of this show.

Performances: October 13th, 15th, 21st and 22nd at 7:00pm in the Worship and Fine Arts Center at LCHS.
