I started working at Lynden Christian in 2009 as a kindergarten aid.  In 2016 I changed to a para educator position.  I love working with all students and see their joy for learning.  I am so thankful to work with the staff at the elementary school where I whiteness first hand the love and enthusiasm for learning that they bring to each of their students.  I believe each child is made in God’s image and is designed perfectly for God’s purpose for each of their lives.

I am married to Derrick who is a General Contactor, building custom homes.  My daughter Jessica has her masters in special education and works as a special ed. teacher in a middle school.   We also have two wonderful sons  who work locally,  Michael who enjoys spending time with family and friends and our youngest son Cameron who enjoys playing drums on the praise team of our church.  We attend Cornwall Church in Bellingham and are continually amazed at God’s faithfulness.
