I grew up in Waupun, WI, on a dairy farm, graduating from Central Wisconsin Christian School. I attended Trinity Christian College and graduated with my B.A. in 1995. I have taught mainly second grade in three Christian school communities: Hanford Christian in Hanford, California; Sheboygan Christian in Sheboygan, Wisconsin; and Calvin Christian in Escondido, California. I started teaching sixth grade at Lynden Christian in 2025.

My husband, Ron (LC’s MS art teacher), and I are blessed with three children: Jocie, Sierra, and Darin. I enjoy being active, whether running, walking, or anything related to sports. I also love taking my dog, Rainier, to the local coffee shops for a pup cup.

I am passionate about teaching, especially from a Biblical perspective. It is my deep hope that my students know that they are not their own, but belong with body and soul, both in life and in death, to their faithful Savior Jesus Christ.
