I was born in B.C Canada and my parents are from Cuba instilling a love for the Hispanic culture and language. I later moved to Miami, Fl where I lived for 11 years then moved to Bellingham, WA in 2014 when I got married. I have two children that I adore as well as two fur babies. My love for teaching started at a young age when I started teaching Sunday school at my father’s church. I graduated from Western Governors University in 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education after completing my student teaching at Lynden Christian in the Spanish Immersion program, where I fell in love with the program. I started teaching in the 2021-2022 school year, SI Kindergarten. Beyond the classroom I love to spend my time reading and spending time with my family, I am actively involved in my churches children’s ministry where I am a Sunday school teacher at Centro de Adoracion Vida.
