I moved from St. Paul, Minnesota, to the PNW in 2014 where I began my career in education at Mount Vernon Christian. In my time at MVC I had a variety of roles including teaching K-12 physical education, health, anatomy & physiology, strength training, high school athletic director, and coaching duties of varsity girls soccer, varsity baseball, and JV girls basketball.

I received my Bachelors degree in physical education and health from Dordt University in 2013 and earned my Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University St. Paul in 2016.

My wife, Megan, and I got married in 2019 and she is a 1st grade teacher at Fisher Elementary School in Lynden. We attend North County Christ the King Church and our hobbies include traveling, going for walks, golf, and enjoying the beautiful summers that teaching affords.
