I have been working on the Spanish Immersion team at Lynden Christian since 2023. I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and then moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan, to attend Calvin University. While at Calvin I studied Elementary Education and Spanish and played both soccer and lacrosse. I had the opportunity to study abroad in Honduras where my passion and love for the Spanish language and diverse cultures began.

I love connecting and learning from people of all backgrounds, cultures, and walks of life. I love how the gift of Spanish allows me to do this with even more people! I enjoy seeing my students connect with each other and the world through their language abilities and learn more about God and his character through language learning.

Outside of school, I enjoy running, biking, cooking, traveling, and watching random sports games. I aspire to see the beauty and joy in each day that the Lord has given us. I believe He alone is my strength and only comfort in life and death. What a gift that we are His children and that we get to live today for His glory! I attend Amor Viviente and help lead GEMS at Sonlight Church.
