“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ.” Phillipians 4:4-7
I grew up in Paisley, Oregon, a small town in the Eastern part of the state. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Oregon State University and my Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from The University of Nevada, Reno.
I married my husband in 1999 and we have two daughters. I moved to Lynden after I graduated from the University of Nevada and have lived here since 1998.
I have worked at Lynden Christian Elementary since 2010 as the first Speech Language Pathologist on campus. I feel truly honored to have been asked to work at a Christian school. It is such a privilege and I love working with all of my students. Communicating with others is such a crucial part of our daily activity and it is a blessing to me to help improve and teach children this important skill!
