I graduated from Grand Canyon University with my teaching degree and began teaching at Lynden Christian High School in 2015. I received my master’s in education leadership from GCU in 2020. I enjoy teaching a wide variety of classes including Business Management, Independent Living, Food and Nutrition, and Culinary Arts.

I am also an FFA Advisor overseeing the FFA Program; it is awesome to see how God is using our students in agriculture and beyond. I also coach the Farm and Agribusiness Management Career Development Event (CDE). I love how this CDE challenges the team to grow. One of my favorite parts is taking the team to the state competition and National FFA Convention in Indianapolis (if we win state).

My husband, Ben, is a Controller and works in Bellingham. We are blessed with two girls who are twelve years apart (Ella and Jessica). We love living in Lynden with the close community. Our family attends First Christian Reformed Church.
