After earning a BA in Elementary Education with endorsements in both early childhood development and psychology from Western Washington University in 1994, I began my teaching career.  I was a classroom teacher for 15 years, taking a 7-year leave in the middle to be home with my children.  In 2018, I left the classroom and began the journey to become a Professionally Certified Educational Therapist. I currently serve students at both Lynden Christian and Ebenezer Christian School.  In 2023, I completed a Master of Education degree focusing on Curriculum and Instruction.

My husband Mark and I have two children – Jackson (LC class of 2020) and Paige (LC class of 2022.) We attend North County Christ the King Church in Lynden.  When I’m not at school, you can find me at home in the kitchen or yard, watching LC sports, reading a good book or camping with my family. I’m thrilled that the Lord has chosen me to serve Him as an educational therapist and have a deep hope that through Discovery my students will not only strengthen their academic skills but also learn to use their gifts to be His hands and feet.
