The Lynden Christian High School Drama Department is proud to present Frozen the Broadway Musical, the stage adaptation of Disney’s Academy Award–winning film. Filled with humor, heart, and unforgettable music, this beloved story comes to life on stage as students share a powerful tale of sisterhood, acceptance, and true love.
Set in the kingdom of Arendelle, Frozen follows sisters Anna and Elsa, whose bond is tested when Elsa’s hidden magical powers plunge the land into eternal winter. With the help of Kristoff, Sven, and the ever-lovable Olaf, Anna embarks on a daring journey to reunite her family and restore hope. The Broadway musical features favorite songs from the film along with new music written specifically for the stage.

The production is directed by Bronwyn Riggins and choreographed by K.C. Halldorson, with Heidi Slagle serving as Musical Director and Laura Williams-French as Assistant Director. Mark French is the Technical Director.
Behind the scenes, students and volunteers have played a vital role in bringing Arendelle to life. Gwen Lohrer serves as Stage Manager, with Stuart Lucas and Sadie Houston as Assistant Stage Managers. Lohrer also designed the lighting, while Brandon Korthuis led projection design. Lane VanderWoude, the build student lead, constructed Oaken’s Shop, the sauna, and featured set pieces, while Faith Diephuis, paint and scenic design student lead, painted key set elements including the outside of Oaken’s Shop and Kristoff’s ice cart. Ivy Bento painted the inside of Oaken’s Shop.
The cast and crew have been rehearsing for two months, with music rehearsals and choreography comprising the bulk of preparation time. Costumes were designed by Bronwyn Riggins and Amanda VanderGiessen, with assistance from Cyndi Brower and Jolene May. Set construction and painting were completed by a dedicated team of staff, students, parents, and volunteers from the Lynden Christian community.

All performances will be held at the Lynden Christian High School Worship and Fine Arts Center. Lobby doors open 30 minutes before showtime. Seating is reserved.
