Throughline: Justice Seeker – HS Senior

For my throughline that fits me best, I would say a justice-seeker, which is “acting as agents of change by identifying and responding to injustices.” Someone could live this out if they maintain being a Good Samaritan; it can be an act as simple as breaking up a bully if he’s picking on someone, but it can go all the way to something like what we learned in chapel this week: the topic of sex trafficking, and everything between these two examples. If you live your life this way, you might not be the richest person in the world, but you will have a good heart and a sense of right and wrong. That will take you a long ways in life. This can earn you an honest and respectable reputation in your community, being a positive influence in the community. This throughline has endless amounts of advantages if you can live your life by it. I haven’t had many opportunities to live out this throughline, but if I see something going on that I feel is wrong, there’s a good chance I will step in and intervene if it doesn’t agitate the situation and create a bigger problem. I am still learning how to live my life like this and am not even close to perfect by any means, but I strive to do the right thing in every situation I am put in and beat the challenge, this brings out my competitive nature.
