2022 Annual Fund

Tuesday, December 6th –

As our Annual Fund Drive continues, we’ll be sharing stories of how our staff and students live out our theme of being the “Hands and Feet of Jesus” on a daily basis, both on and off campus. Mrs. Wiersma’s fifth grade class personifies this through their work in our community.

I love this time of year as we not only celebrate the birth of the Christ child but also pause and reflect on the Lord’s goodness to us and the grace and mercy He’s bestowed on us throughout the year. I’m reminded of Mark 10:43-45 which reminds us that whoever wants to become great must first be a servant, for even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve. We are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our daily lives as we serve the Lord and those in our community.

This month we begin our end of year giving campaign known as the Annual Fund Drive. As part of this effort, we will be sharing stories with you that spotlight how your support helps us be the hands and feet of Jesus both on and off campus. This year’s campaign will officially begin on Giving Tuesday, November 29th.

Funds raised will provide tuition assistance to families who need extra help to give their children a Christian education. We will also be raising money to purchase a school van as our current fleet is aging and the miles are adding up. And finally, we will designate a portion of the funds to address unexpected needs that may arise over the coming months here at LC.

Please follow Lynden Christian School on Instagram and Facebook, and check lyncs.org for regular updates on our Annual Fund Drive as we share inspirational stories about how the staff and students of LC are living out the command to be His hands and feet.

Would you prayerfully consider supporting our Annual Fund Drive? Thank you in advance for partnering with us as we strive to carry out our mission of training the next generation of Christian citizens and leaders.

Together in His service,

Jay Allen
