I attended Lynden Christian K-12th grade and went on to graduate from Dordt University in the spring of 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in K-12 Physical Education, Exercise Science, and a coaching endorsement. I am excited to now begin my teaching career at Lynden Christian during the 2024-2025 school year with the middle school team. In addition to teaching, I am excited to begin my coaching career with the Lynden Christin volleyball program. I feel incredibly blessed to be given the opportunity to return to LC with a new role, in hopes of giving back to a school and community that helped equip and shape me into who I am today.

I am thrilled to be back in Lynden after my 4 years in the Midwest and am thankful to be back in my home church at North County Christ the King. I am excited to be back enjoying the mountains, the ocean, and all the beauty in the PNW (even the rain). Outside the classroom, I enjoy exercise, sports, coffee shops, and spending time with my family.

With a passion for kids and teaching, I look forward to helping live out the mission statement of LC by equipping students to step into the world as disciples, clinging to His knowledge and truth. Watching these students learn, develop, and grow into the Children of God that they are brings me hope and encouragement through this journey. My goal is to love, encourage, teach, challenge, and walk with the students that enter into my classroom. Alongside the Word, the rest of the staff, the parents, and the community, I am excited to see what is accomplished this year.
