Hello LC! I am so excited to be a part of the LC staff as a High School Counselor. I grew up in Kirkland, WA and attended Central Washington University and received a degree in Special Education. After teaching for several years, I returned to school and earned my Master’s in Education. After this, I decided to take a break from teaching and stay home with my two daughters. In 2018, the Lord called me back to school where I earned my Master’s in Counseling from Northwest University in Kirkland. My favorite group to counsel are children and teens because they have so much potential! My husband, Steve, and I have two daughters here at LC, Noelle and Niomi and we also have a daughter who is 21 years old and from the Congo. In our spare time, our family likes to watch movies, play board games, cook, bake, and just be together. We attend First Reformed Church.

My life verse is Galatians 2:20: “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself up for me.”
