I am blessed to have graduated from Lynden Christian and now I  get to follow in the footsteps of the families and educators that have paved the way. I have been teaching at Lynden Christian High School since 2020. My deep hope for students coming through my classroom is that they will recognize the value of their own stories and the stories of others and their place in God’s overarching story.

I bring my experience from teaching in Bellevue, Washington; Rehoboth, New Mexico; and Seoul, South Korea. I attained my master’s degree in teaching English language learners from Washington Governors University. I earned my undergraduate degree in secondary education with a focus on teaching English and English as a second language from Calvin University.

My family and I attend Third Christian Reformed Church in Lynden. I love to travel, hike and garden.
