My name is Cesilia. Friends and family call me Cesy. I moved to Lynden, WA, in 2000 with my family and graduated from Lynden High School in 2006. My first language was Spanish, and I learned English in Kindergarten. My parents moved to California from Mexico in the 80s.

My life changed in 2006 when Jesus’ love found me, and I fully surrendered my life to Him. I married my husband Caleb in 2009. We have two children that attend Lynden Christian and they have been part of the Spanish Immersion program since Preschool.

North County Christ the King has been our home church since 2012. My husband and I have served in youth ministry since 2006. We have had the privilege of going on several mission trips with the youth group. I love working with kids, all types of music, crafting, playing video games, and boating on the lake.

I am excited to be serving the Lord by working at Lynden Christian. My life verse has been Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding; acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will make your path straight.”
