I was born and raised in Lynden and graduated from Lynden Christian in 2000. I attended Point Loma Nazarene University, and then Whatcom Community College to pursue an ECE degree. I started at Lynden Christian as a preschool aide in 2003.

In 2004, I married my husband, Matt. Our family lives on and owns a berry farm! We have four children, Eli, Winter, Hope, and Fay, who attend Lynden Christian. I was blessed to be a stay-at-home mom from the time my oldest was born to the time my youngest began preschool.

In 2019, I received an opportunity to come back to LC as an aide and teacher. I’m so thankful for this! Through this job, I continue to enjoy teaching the love of Christ through God’s Word and His creation to little minds, watching children change and grow into caring Christians, and meeting and enveloping new families to the school.

Our family has been active in our church community, and we currently attend North County Christ the King.

As a family we are involved in a variety of sports and music activities throughout the year. I genuinely love watching my kids in all their endeavors! My personal joys are playing piano, singing, coffee, reading (specifically reading in the warm sun!), and bike rides and walks with my family in the berry fields!
