I started out my education at Lynden Christian and completed it class of ’98 at Lynden High School. While in college at Whatcom Community College I accepted The Lord for myself and got involved in youth ministry at my church. I worked in IT and AV Tech at Bellingham CTK for several years and then North County CTK. After that I became a programmer and elevated customer tech support at Logos/Faithlife for a few years. At that point I ventured out on my own as a professional photographer, videographer, graphic designer and did freelance IT services on the side; all while volunteering at my church in AV, worship, and youth ministry.   

I met my wife Laura after seeing her in a play at the Claire theatre in Lynden in 2015. We were married exactly a year from the day we met and have been doing theatre together ever since. It was through theatre that I got connected again with Lynden Christian and began building the Theatre and AV tech teams.   

My wife and I love theatre, writing, photography, all things Disneyland and building LEGO together.   

I am so excited to challenge my students to dive deeper into the professional world of technology in audio engineering, video production, theater lighting, and projection/presentation, as well as teaching photography and design in LC’s yearbook class. My heart is to combine a highly functional professional level of education in these areas while pursuing a missional attitude for the Gospel of Christ in the world. I truly believe that God is going to use these technological skills and passion for the Gospel in the next generation of missionaries, pastors, and professionals!
