I grew up in Lynden and attended Lynden High School where I met my now husband, Jacob. We were married in 2012 and have three kiddos, a pup, and two kitties. Our kids are enrolled in the Spanish Immersion Program here at LC, and we couldn’t be more thankful for the education they are receiving.  We attend North County Christ the King and in our free time love to go for walks, bike ride through Berthusen Park, travel (especially to Disneyland), and just enjoy being home!

In 2013, I graduated from WWU with a degree in Community Public Health. In 2016, I started volunteering as a mentor at Lynden High School I knew I would love to be a coordinator someday. So, after six years as a stay at home mom (dabbling in personal organization and cleaning projects on the side), I saw the opportunity to work as a coordinator at Lynden Christian and jumped at the chance.  Being a mentor coordinator combines my passions for organization, administration, and getting to hear people’s stories.   I have been working at Lynden Christian as the Be The One Community Mentor Coordinator since August of 2020. One of my favorite things about my job is that I get to connect with students and adult volunteers from our community.  I also get to network with coordinators from neighboring districts and watch the needs of students get met through the dedicated mentors who continually choose to pour into their student!
