I grew up in Rehoboth, NM and Zeeland, MI. I graduated from Redeemer University College in Ancaster, ON with my B.A. in Religion and Theology. After undergrad, I went to Calvin Theological Seminary for my Master of Theological Studies (M.T.S.) in Biblical Studies and Master of Theology (M.Th.) in Philosophical Theology.  I recently completed my doctorate in Systematic Theology (Ph.D.) at the University of Toronto.

Throughout my education, I have been blessed with incredible teachers who have encouraged me to integrate my faith with every aspect of my life. I am excited to work together with my students this year so that, together, we can become people who can look out onto God’s good but fallen world and see evidences of his goodness, behold his beauty, and become proclaimers of his truth.

When my head is not stuck in books, I enjoy observing God’s beauty in creation. My husband (Kyle Kloostra) and I go hiking any chance that we can get. I also love a good cup of coffee and spending time with friends. Kyle and I attend Sonlight CRC where Kyle is a pastor.
