“The end then of learning is to repair the ruins of our first parents by regaining to know God aright, and out of that knowledge to love him, to imitate him, to be like him…” —John Milton

My life experiences have involved living in a variety of locations… the Badlands of South Dakota, Wyoming, Nebraska, Mississippi and then raising my 3 sons and daughter in the great state of Colorado. I enjoyed home-schooling my four children all the way from K – 12th grades.

My education includes an Associate in Arts and Bible from Grace University, Omaha, Nebraska, and a B.S. in Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In recent years I worked in Colorado public schools as a speech therapist.

I also am a professional artist, working in western landscapes and wildlife and have exhibited in a number of regional shows including the Cheyenne Frontier Days Western Spirit Show.

I love exploring creation in the great outdoors. I’ve climbed 14, 259 ft. Long’s Peak in Colorado and 14, 496 ft. Mt. Whitney in California, the highest mountain in the lower 48 states.

I am passionate about books in a wide variety subjects. One can never have enough books on hand!

I love the community of faith I have joined up with at Wiser Lake Chapel and teach the middle school Sunday School class there.
