LCS Transportation
The goal of Lynden Christian Schools is to provide high-quality Christian education for families of Whatcom County. To help attain this goal, LCS has a team of reliable bus drivers who provide transportation to students living throughout Whatcom County. Busing (full and limited service) is available to families based upon your proximity to each campus and/or other LCS neighborhood populations.
All questions relating to your child's specific pick-up/drop-off location can be directed to the LCS Central Office at (360) 318-9525.
In the event of inclement weather, there are two types of road restrictions that modify or prohibit regular bus travel:
- Road Restrictions: School buses will operate their REGULAR routes at reduced speeds.
- Severe Road Restrictions: School buses will operate on Restricted Bus Routes only.
NOTE: During inclement weather conditions, local radio stations KGMI, KAFE, KPUG, and KWPZ will make announcements regarding road restrictions and possible school closures. Information will also be posted on the homepage of our website.
