I graduated from Lynden Christian in 1999 and attended Whitworth University where I received my Bachelor degrees in Biology and Religion. In 2005, I graduated with a Master in Teaching from Whitworth University and began teaching at Westminster Christian Academy, in St. Louis, Missouri. During my four years at Westminster I taught 8th grade science, physical education and coached soccer, basketball and track and field.

After returning to the northwest in 2008 I have taught 8th grade science and 7th grade bible. The elective courses I have taught include physical education, food and culture, outdoor survival, and 3-D art.

My wife Kim and I and our son’s Elias and Malachi attend The Table, a church plant established the summer of 2010 in south Bellingham.

Outside of the classroom I enjoy family, travel and many outdoor activities including biking, hiking, climbing and running.
