"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28
I am a graduate of Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. I also have graduate training from the National Institute of Learning Disabilities (NILD-Discovery) and special education.
After moving to the Northwest in 1994, I taught for many years in grades K-5 and with mainstreaming deaf children to the classroom. Since moving to Lynden in 2001, I have taught in the Discovery program in grades 2-12, full time Kindergarten and am now currently blessed by teaching 4th grade!
My job is truly a gift from the Lord! I love to watch students light up with excitement in all that they are learning. I believe every child is a gift and as a Christian schoolteacher is it my desire to help educate children in the ways of the Lord and help to make that personal relationship with Jesus genuine to all.
My husband Jeff and I have two children, Reghan and Nolan. I love to volunteer at First Reformed Church, I love to quilt and I love to travel all around New England and the rest of the world during the summer praising God for the world He has created.
