I was born in the beautiful state of Jalisco, Mexico. At the age of seven my parents brought me to the United States where I lived for many years and graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. As an adult, I moved to the State of Washington. Here, I raised and homeschooled my children. It was during that time that the Lord opened my heart and I understood how deep my love for teaching children and training them in the Lord’s way is. I have taught many students and different grade levels (including high school) for over twenty years. I began working at Lynden Christian in 2018 and since then, I have earned a Masters in Elementary Education. As a teacher, my deepest hope is that students not only excel in academic knowledge but also in the knowledge of who Jesus is. My desire is that the next generations fall in love with Jesus and would choose to be imitators of Christ’s character more and more each day. It is a privilege and an honor to be able to teach here at Lynden Christian School.
