I have been playing the saxophone for over 20 years. I studied classical saxophone and composition while at Western Washington University and then later completed my masters in choral conducting there as well. I reside in Bellingham, Washington where I founded the group Nuages. In addition, I also conduct the choir at First Presbyterian Church of Bellingham and conducts both jazz band and concert band for the Lynden Christian Schools. Paul Desmond, Stan Getz, Philipp Glass, Eric Satie, Maurice Ravel and Claude Debussy are all influences to my musical palette.
When away from music I love spending time with my wife, Nadene, and together we cook, hike, bike, and go to the Pickford Cinema.
