“Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful.” I Corinthians 4:2
It’s a great privilege to be entrusted with the care and education of children. I have worked in various capacities with kids and their families for most of my adult life, and I continue to find it the most meaningful work I can imagine. Preschoolers, in particular, are filled with joy, wonder, humor, ingenuity, and compassion that make me marvel at their Creator every single day. It’s amazing to walk alongside them as they wrestle with new ideas, make attempts, discover, and grow.
I am a graduate of Lynden Christian, and after working various jobs and raising my kids, I am now pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education at Whatcom Community College.
For fun and relaxation, I like to read, dig in my flowerbeds, make art, and take trips with my husband Jim. Our three adult children live in Whatcom County, so we still get to share meals, play games, and watch football and movies all together. Jim and I attend Grace Baptist Fellowship in Lynden.
