Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight
I grew up across Canada in a Christian environment while spending my summers in Rogers, AR. It was quite the dichotomy; my Canadian/Southern upbringing. I loved it! My parents worked with Campus Crusade for Christ and their work had us traveling across Canada most of my elementary school years. They finally settled in Abbotsford where I graduated from W.J. Mouat High School in 1985. After high school, I attended Trinity Western University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. In 1989 I went to Lutheran Bible Institute and received a certification in Youth Ministries. I also attended Western Washington University and received another Bachelor of Arts degree specializing in K-12 physical education. However, I did not go into teaching but opened and co-operated Moving and Storage Solutions in Whatcom County.
In the spring of 2012, an opportunity opened up for me to work as an administrative assistant for the superintendent and a receptionist at the Central Office. It is a tremendous blessing to work for LCS as I have been a part of LCS as a parent since 2007. My two daughters, Adrianna and Alexa, attend Lynden Christian. Our family makes Sonlight Community Church our home church. The Lord has always been an integral part of my life. He is my Rock and I pray that as I continue to work here, His light will shine through to the students, staff and faculty of LCS as well as all of those who come in contact one way or another with LCS.
