I am blessed to serve in Christian schools throughout my career. I served for 21 years at Valley Christian Schools in Cerritos, CA as a teacher, principal and superintendent.
I graduated from Lynden Christian High School in 1985. I attended Northwestern College in Orange City, IA and received a BA degree in Social Studies and Secondary Education. I have a Master’s of Science degree from Cal State Fullerton in Educational Leadership and an Educational Doctorate (Ed. D.) also in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern California.
My wife Kelly teaches math at the high school. We have three children and attend First Reformed Church in Lynden.
It is a privilege for me to work with young people. I am passionate to see them reach their full potential in Christ and to become agents of change and renewal in a broken world.
