I grew up in Paisley, Oregon, a small town in the Eastern part of the state. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Oregon State University and my Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from The University of Nevada, Reno.

I married my husband in 1999 and we have two daughters. I moved to Lynden after I graduated from the University of Nevada and have lived here since 1998.

I have worked at Lynden Christian Elementary since 2010 as the first Speech Language Pathologist on campus. I feel truly honored to have been asked to work at a Christian school. It is such a privilege and I love working with all of my students. Communicating with others is such a crucial part of our daily activity and it is a blessing to me to help improve and teach children this important skill!
