After graduating from Lynden Christian in 1991, I attended Calvin College and graduated in 1995 with an Elementary Education degree. My husband, Ed, and I married in 1994 and after college graduation moved to Mount Vernon, WA. Ed began working for Logos Bible Software while I taught at Everett Christian for two years and then at Mount Vernon Christian for one year before our oldest daughter was born. For the next 13 years I was a stay-home mom for our four daughters and also was very involved in many church ministries. We moved back to Lynden in 2005 and when our youngest daughter started Kindergarten in 2011, I was blessed with the opportunity to work as a Kindergarten aide. Later I taught part-time Kindergarten, full-time second grade, and now full-time Kindergarten. I love Lynden Christian, and consider it a privilege to serve our elementary students and to work with the amazing teachers with whom I entrusted my own children’s education. Ed continues to work at Logos Bible Software. We have attended Bethel Church in Lynden since 2005 and would love to have you join us for worship if you are looking for a church home.
