Tuition Reminders – T.R.I.P. payouts have been posted and will be applied against your final tuition auto-payment. Emailed tuition statements can be reviewed 14 days after receipt and always reflect your current balance, so you can open your previously sent statement to see your T.R.I.P. payout. Re-enrollment fees will not be on your current year tuition statements but instead on your 2017-2018 statement and will be applied against your August payment.
Post Season Sports - Please note that passes are NOT accepted, and everyone must pay admission. Admission is as follows: $7.00 for adults, $5.00 for students with ASB cards and senior citizens. This includes home events. Schedules and tournament brackets can be found at www.nwcathletics.com.

Plant Sale – Time is running out! Baskets and pots will be planted through Saturday May 13 (if our supply of plants and soil hold out). Watch for clearance sale signs next week and on our “LC Plant Sale” Facebook page! Hours are weekdays from 12:00 to 3:00 pm and this Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

You can find the photos at http://lyndenchristian.smugmug.com/ (PLEASE NOTE: For safety, the SmugMug password is not included on any printed materials, but can be found on your RenWeb home page). You DO NOT need to create a log in or password. If you would like to purchase any of the photos, you have the two options: 1) download the digital image or 2) purchase prints and have them sent to you. Art Club will have its last meeting and end of year party on May 23! Students are invited for pizza, a movie, and to wrap up final art projects and trade artist cards. Come celebrate another great year of making art! Students are welcome to bring a comfy bean bag or lounge chair and some snack foods to share. Lyncs Kids Summer Athletic Camps – LC is offering a variety of sports camps for kindergarten through 8th grade students. Registration will take place ONLINE ONLY again this year (no paper flyers/forms will be sent home). To register your child(ren) for one or more of the camps, click here. Please use the grade your child will be in NEXT YEAR (2017-18) when registering. A late fee of $5 will be applied after the registration deadlines, and a t-shirt will not be guaranteed. Suitcase Donations – The LC teachers are heading to Ghana, Africa on June 16 and are looking for suitcases they can take with them and leave there. Suitcases serve multiple purposes for the people in Africa, and the LC group would like to bless them with as many as possible. If you have a new or used suitcase you would like to donate, please drop it off at the elementary school office.

BoxTops/Labels News – Final collection deadline for BoxTops and Labels is Friday, May 26. This will be the last tallied collection for this school year. All students in the Elementary School Building will receive a certificate for one free soft serve ice cream cone from our friends at Edaleen Dairy! Thank you Edaleen Dairy!!! High School (9-12)
Attention Parents/Guardians of Seniors – Please remind your senior about the list posted at the high school office where he/she needs to indicate his/her after high school plans (i.e. which college or school they will be attending, or if they will be working locally). This list will be read at graduation and will be used to send final transcripts. Seniors are asked to take this list seriously.
Graduation Supplies – LCHS requires a navy blue cap and gown and a tassel. These items may be borrowed from former graduates. If items still need to be ordered, you may go to www.jostens.com. Jostens handed out ordered items last week. If you have questions or concerns, please contact Jostens at 800-840-9130.
High School Exams will be held June 6 through June 8. The exam schedule and guidelines can be found here.
High School Registration Fees (book lease, ASB fee, class fees, participation fees and any other fees) for the 2016-2017 school year must be paid in full before report cards, transcripts and diplomas will be released in June. Preferably, they should be paid in full prior to final exams (fines double during exam week – don’t wait!). Please be reminded that these amounts are not included in tuition and are not automatically withheld. They must be paid by check or cash to the high school. Graduation Ceremony - Lynden Christian High School Graduation will be held Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 7:00 pm. The ceremony will be held at the LCHS Football Stadium. In the case of inclement weather, it will be moved into the LCHS Gymnasium. Seating is first come, first serve, and we kindly ask that seats not be reserved ahead of time. Any items, such as blankets or jackets set out to reserve seats ahead of time will be removed before the ceremony. Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.

Children’s Musical Theatre 2017 – The Children’s Musical Theatre Summer Stock 2017 proudly presents Madagascar Jr. Your child will take a journey out of the zoo and onto the big stage with Directors Kathleen Dean and Dee Apodaca. Filled with outlandish characters, adventures galore and an upbeat score, Madagascar JR. will leave audiences with no choice but to “Move It, Move It!” Camp is for kids going into 3rd-12th grade and runs June 20-July 1, with 2 performing casts acting, dancing, singing in full costume and under the lights at the WFAC on June 30 & July 1 at 5:00 and 7:00 pm. Tickets are sold at the door. Registration forms are on the website at www.thechildrensmusicaltheater.com. Please cut, paste & email them along with questions to Heather Schmitt at email@example.com. The camp fills up quickly, so registrations are dated upon receipt, and a waiting list may be formed.
