High School Fall PlayPeter/Wendy, by Jeremy Bloom. Tickets are on sale now. You can order tickets online at www.showtix4u.com/events/LyndenChristian (online will close 2 hours before curtain for each performance) or talk to a box office representative Mondays from 8:30 am-12:30 pm now -10/21 (360-318-9525 extension 1012). Tickets are also available at the door. “In this lyrical, atmospheric interpretation of Peter Pan, Jeremy Bloom strips the familiar story down to its emotional essence. Peter lures Wendy away from her nursery to the magical world of Neverland, where she joins his adventures with Tinker Bell, Tiger Lily and the menacing Captain Hook. A low-tech, inventive adaptation that pays homage to the darker themes of J.M. Barrie’s original, Peter/Wendy will mesmerize audiences of all ages.” Performance dates are: October 18, 19, 24 and 26 at 7:00 pm in the WFAC. Tickets are $12 for adults and $7 for students/seniors 62 and over.

Middle School (5-8)

Middle School Music Chapel/Assembly will take place on Thursday, November 7 at 11:00 am in the WFAC. The 7th and 8th grade band, orchestra and choirs will be performing in a Veterans Day themed assembly. We would be honored to have people attend who have family members currently serving, those who have served and those who would like to say "thank you" to our armed services for the freedoms we have today.  Ultimately, everyone is invited as we praise God for those willing to serve and for those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, like Jesus did for us, so that we would be able to enjoy the freedoms we have today.

6th Grade Musical - “Star Factor” by Christy Semsen, reminds us all how each of us has different talents and how we are all special in God's eyes! While attending Camp Heart and Soul, students learn that even when the world says "look out for yourself," we need to rely on each other and how better life is when we work together.  The musical will be performed in the Worship and Fine Arts Center on Wednesday, November 20 and Friday, November 22, at 7:00 pm (doors open at 6:30 pm). Limited seating is also available at the matinee performance on Wednesday, November 20 at 12:30 pm.  Admission prices are $3.00 for grades 5 and under, $6.00 for grade 6 and over or $5.00 with a canned or non-perishable food item for Project Hope.  Proceeds will benefit future 6th grade musicals and the elementary and middle school music programs.
