LCS Libraries
Elementary School Library
The elementary library houses over 10,000 books of various kinds for students and teachers to use and enjoy. Classes come weekly to the library and avid readers are welcome to drop by as needs and time allow. The elementary library is foundational for curriculum support, the learning of library rules and procedures, the introduction of library skills, and for the encouragement of a life-long desire to read and learn. A good book travels with you anywhere and helps you to travel to distant places without having to buy a ticket!
Middle School Library
The Middle School library is a great place to find a good novel or information on subjects such as dirt bikes!! We offer over 12,000 books to students for pleasure reading and research projects. We use the Accelerated Reader program to measure student reading and comprehension. There are approximately 2800 Accelerated Reader tests for students to choose from. The library hours are 8:15 am -3:15 pm every day. We are always on the lookout for new, quality literature suggestions for all students, especially boys.
