Welcome to the LCHS Library!
Our goal is to help you become a lifelong learner.
Our Librarian: Anita Van Loo
Our Information Technology Specialist: Mark Houseman
Library Hours: 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
In the fall of 2003 the doors opened to our newly remodeled library facility.
Our library doubled in physical size, which increased the accessibility of reading and research collections. There are tables for active periodical research, computers for digital research and study carrels for quiet study; the library is designed to meet needs of our students and teachers. The reading room, located within our library is in constant use for study halls, test taking and intense study. Our library houses 10,000 volumes, and we regularly subscribe to four newspapers and 50 periodicals.
Checkout: The checkout time for books, vertical files and magazines is 3 weeks and for videos, 3 days. Reference materials may be checked out overnight.
Fines: $.10 per day for books and periodicals; $.25 per day for reference materials. All books must be returned and fines paid before semester exams may be taken.

Student Reviews and Recommendations
As Librarian, one of the supreme joys of working at Lynden Christian School is seeing God at work in and through both students and faculty. I never cease to be amazed. As we share our stories, we laugh together, hurt together and grow together . . . and God is moving in the midst of it all, even when we don't see it at the time. It gives me goose bumps to see or hear of a former student, who maybe struggled while he/she was here, but who now has such a passion and heart for God.
