During the year of 2016 I worked as a preschool aid at the Kids Caboose Preschool at First Reformed Church and I loved it! This past year of 2017 I went to YWAM Kona and volunteered as a Mission Builder for 3 months and worked on the base. Then I decided to do a Discipleship Training School there for 3 months and was sent to Uganda for another 3 months for my outreach. I grew up in rural South Dakota. Upon graduating from Dordt College in 1997 with a BA in Elementary Education, I moved to the coast of North Carolina. I taught at Terra Ceia Christian School for four years.

I grew up in Churchill, Montana and attended Manhattan Christian School through to my senior year when we moved to Twin Falls, Idaho where I attended Magic Valley Christian for my last year. I went on to attend Dordt College and graduated in 2004 with my B.A. in elementary education and minor in reading. I was blessed to get a teaching job at Canyonside Christian, near Twin Falls, right away and I taught 3rd grade for four years.
