If I Were President -- 4th Grade Student

If I were President, I would lower taxes.  Taxes are bad and some rich people don't even pay taxes.  My second step would be to raise fines for people in jail.  It's not right for people to shoot or stab someone and spend only a year in jail.  They should be in jail for at least three years.  My next step would be to help people serving in war.  They go out to war, lose an arm, a leg, or their life.  I mean, who likes going to war for 5 years (without their family), losing a limb, and living in a wheelchair for the rest of their life? Teaching for Transformation - High School Teacher
