Throughout the year, we’ve dove into many different themes and ideas relating to our beliefs and lives. A underlying theme can be found in all the ideas we talked about this semester, this theme is called a throughline. A throughline is essentially a life theme. It is an idea that can be found in every aspect of your life. For me, my throughline is worship. Worship is something that can be found in some form in my daily life. It is something usually unintentional, something subconscious. In my life, it can take form in music, praying, socializing, and being in a Christian community. All of these things are a form of worship. I will examine my throughline through the lense of the parts of the temple, the Spheres of Influence, my ‘Wilderness’, and the plot of my life.
