In 2010, Lynden Christian School will celebrate its centennial anniversary and we want all alumni to be included in this significant event. Class Participation Challenge

To make this process even more interesting, we thought it would be fun to turn it into a friendly Class Participation Challenge! Participation is the key word.... We will keep track of the participating alumni from each class and report the percentages of alumni involvement on our website and in the spring edition of Alumni Connection. The class with the highest percentage of participation will receive a Special Treat at their next class reunion.

There are Many Ways to Participate

We are blessed by many alumni who have committed to partnering with LCS in a variety of ways:
  • Some pray regularly for the school, its students, staff, families and volunteers
  • Some share words of encouragement with teachers or staff who made an impact on them
  • Others choose to volunteer at 2nd Chance Thrift Store, Cash from Trash, Paper Baler, or one of the school's many fundraisers
  • While others choose to contribute financially to the High School Expansion Project, Tuition Assistance Fund, Endowment Fund, or become an alumni contributor.

Winning Class Will be Honored with a Prize!

If your graduating class has the highest percentage of class participation, your class will be honored with a Certificate of Participation and your class year will be inscribed on a commemorative plaque at LCHS. The winning class will also receive a private musical concert in Lynden Christian's Worship and Fine Arts Center during its next class reunion. Alumni will be treated to a special evening of orchestral music provided by our talented high school music students.

Support your alma mater while participating in a friendly class competition based on the highest percentage of participation. The LCHS Alumni Office challenges everyone, individually and collectively as a class, to participate in supporting LCS.
