Admission Procedures

Welcome to Our Bellingham and Lynden Campuses

Lynden Christian Schools was started in 1910 by a group of Christian parents determined to provide their children with a quality education from a Biblical perspective. Lynden Christian Schools is an extension of the Christian home. The Christian home, the Christian church and our school work together as a team seeking to glorify Jesus Christ in all things. Based on this belief, we require at least one parent to be a professing Christian. Parents and students are expected to demonstrate, by their lifestyles, their commitment to Jesus as their Savior and Lord.

  1. A campus tour is required to receive an enrollment application. Appointments to tour the school are available daily Monday - Friday. Please call or email Kathy Chambers, Admissions Director, at (360) 318-9525 Lynden campus or Mary Enfield at (360) 738-8248 Bellingham campus to schedule a tour. We will mail enrollment information packets to families who live out of the area.
  2. Once a family decision is made, the completed enrollment and application forms should be brought to the LCS Central Office or our Bellingham office.
  3. After all the forms have been submitted a conference with the family will be scheduled; both parents should be present for this interview.
  4. Following a successful conference a recommendation for acceptance will be sent to the school board who makes the final decision on enrollment.

This entire procedure is designed to give the prospective parent(s) maximum amount of information and communication as possible. This is a very important decision and we feel strongly that a commitment needs to be made wholeheartedly and without reservation.
